Partner and LLP Member misconduct can take many forms, from inappropriate conduct towards colleagues and clients, abuse of expenses, placing client monies at risk, gross negligence, misuse of confidential information and trying to poach clients and colleagues for a proposed move, to serious breaches of the firm’s policies and procedures.
This breakfast panel discussion will consider the key issues and best practice approaches to the legal, regulatory, reporting and risk management framework for firms in responding to such breaches through internal and regulatory body investigations and disciplinary processes and sanctions, together with the proactive steps which firms can take to reduce the risks of such conduct by their Partners and LLP Members in the first place.
